THE LIVING ROOM – OCTOBER 2020 | RACIAL SOLIDARITY IN THE CHURCH
Just as we believe that sustainable change begins in the home, so too does effective change need to resonate from the church. For if the church truly longs to emulate the prolonged servanthood of Christ in what we constantly refer to and recognize as a broken world, then we cannot shy away from the urgent need in our midst of racial solidarity. The voices in this space show the beauty of conversation, but beyond that, a conversation around how the church can step up and be just that – the church.
THE LIVING ROOM – JUNE 2020 | RACISM
What an incredible evening of conversation and music. We are beyond thankful for the willingness from the evening’s artists to engage in conversation around racial reconciliation, and in such a way that engaged understanding. If you would like to watch the evening back, you are welcome to do so by clicking on the image below. Each of the evening’s artists also shared an organization that you can utilize, whether through financial means or hands on involvement.
May our living room represent a starting point. One of conversation and relationship, where change, though needed in our communities, churches, and systems, is sustained as a reflection of our homes.
